This spot was fabulous.  The colors were absolutely fantastic.  Awesome. This was near Lake Louise, Banff Park.

The Prairies

Hi friends,  sorry I haven't been able to keep up to date as well as I wanted to.  I've fallen in love with the prairies.  The Rockies are fantastic, Banff, Jasper, Lake Louise, Whistler and all but I've completely fallen head over heals in love with the prairies.  I love the "Big Sky".  We're in Winnipeg tonight and at a motel and looking at the forecast which is rain.  SOOOO camping?  well we'll see.

Well it's been quite a journey so far.  From Woodstock, Manitoulin, northern Superior, the Prairie's,  The Rockies, north to Jasper (my favorite so far) then south to Whistler, ( a close second best) and now via BC Ferries to Vancouver Island.  We have decided to stay here on the Island for a week, so I won't post any more for now.  The photo of the coyote I happened to take when we came on him walking down the middle of the road.  He quickly went into the grass at the edge and I did manage to capture him much to my and Dave's surprise!
We are in a motel tonight as we will camp for the next 7 nights.  Today's ride from Cache Creek north, and then south by a beautiful twisty narrow road from valleys to heights, and back again a few times,  was absolutely magnificent.  It's the best I have ever seen ANYWHERE.   Canada, I love you.
